Theatre

As part of the Front and Center Theatre Collaborative, We Tell Stories provides 3rd grade storytelling workshops and assemblies,  24th Street welcomes all 5th graders to their home for "Enter Stage Right". Young Storytellers continues to mentor students through their "Script to Stage" program.  Actors' Gang offers free afterschool programs for 4th & 5th grade students.

As part of the Front and Center Theatre Collaborative, Actors’ Gang provides workshops for 6th & 7th grade Social Studies Classes. Elective offerings include the 6th grade elective wheel Intro to Theatre class.  7th and 8th grade semester classes include Exploration of Theatre and Musical Theatre Showcase.  New in 2025-26, Advanced Theatre Performance is open to all grades by audition/interview and includes both acting and technical theatre.   Students in Advanced Theatre will go to competitions and produce the spring musical.   The after school Performances program will continue to produce the fall play.

CTE Pathways include Performing and Live Events (Technical). Performance Pathway includes CTE Theatre Arts and CTE Advanced Theatre. Live Events Pathway includes CTE Live Events I and CTE Live Events II. All classes are offered during the day and afterschool during 7th period via the AVPA Program.
