Actors Gang
The Actors Gang's Education Department, established in 2000, is dedicated to introducing the joy and transformative power of theater to the diverse youth of Los Angeles and beyond. The programs have a significant impact on students’ academic and social-emotional development. Teaching Artists create and develop programming to connect with participants of all ages in the classroom and during after-school hours, influencing how students learn, interact with others, and perceive themselves.
Center Theatre Group
The Center Theatre Group's Education Department supports educators and schools through a variety of programs and resources designed to bring theater into the classroom, bring students to the theater, and improve the quality of arts education for all students.
Education has been an integral part of the organization's work since 1971, when programming for young people was launched to address the diminishing state of arts education in Southern California. Each year, these programs reach thousands of students throughout the region.
